Farid Chia manages the Finance team including the Accounting and Cost Control as well as the IT Team which includes the IT infrastructure as well as the ERP system. Farid is a strong supporter of the ERP system and has implemented it across the company to ensure we are process driven, and have a strong grasp on the cost control and manufacturing process.

Farid Chia obtained his professional accounting qualification from The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He has 30 years of working experience in auditing, corporate turnaround, financial accounting and cost & management system in various industries.

Prior to joining MIR VALVE, he was the Head of Finance at Asian Finance Bank Berhad. He also served Alam Flora of the DRB-HICOM Group for 9 years as the General Manager of Finance & IT. He was then instrumental in the implementation of SAP and financial model for the privatization of Solid Waste management activities.
