Offers a reduced overall weight, especially in larger sizes 24" and above with the welded ends.
Manufactured with forged materials in the various grades of CS, SS, Duplex and all other high alloys, thus ensuring this design can meet all our customers material requirements.
Compact body design available in large sizes 24" and above, with weld end/weld end connections.
Alternative option to the side-entry bolted body (MV3) for specific design applications.
Typically used in underground service gas transmission pipelines or subsea. These are the most commonly used applications.
The body is welded together, if repairs are required, it is a major exercise, which can only be performed at manufacturer's plant.
